DR. ALICE DUVERNOIS BVETMED MRCVS

Meet the Vet

My passion is to improve the lives of pets through educating their ‘person’ about the importance of animal welfare and medicine.

Alice spent her first 10 years in France where her passion for animals began; she had a 7 year detour in the USA where it became clear that her vocation was to be a vet. Eventually, she set foot in her spiritual home of London where she spent a grueling 5 years working hard to achieve her goal. In 2004, she’d made it….. She qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and started the most amazing professional adventure.

After working in Hong Kong for a couple of years, Alice returned to London where she worked 4 years at a PDSA hospital in East London followed by 5 years at Molly & max, a prestigious private clinic in South West London. In 2015, Alice relocated to sunny Brighton where she took the position of Senior Veterinary Surgeon of the PDSA Pet Hospital  leading and managing a large team of vets and nurses. Alice is currently working on an ad hoc basis to help up-skill the veterinary team doing more complex surgery. Alongside her career, Alice is also a mum to two boys and a wired hair Jack Russell Terrier, Martha (who was her first baby).

Alice is now running her own business where she provides locum veterinary services around practices in Sussex and London, veterinary acupuncture to her patients in Brighton and media work on TV productions.

Unfortunately at the moment Alice is not able to answer personal queries about pets through this website.
